GRAND CRU 40 RUBBIE

Territory description

This Cru spreads over a completely flat area at an altitude of 125 m at the base of the Canino Mountains, from which the sea is visible 10 km away. Maremma climate is characterized by mild winters, due to the protection offered by natural barriers against the strong north wind. Under the layer of cultivation at a depth of 80-90 cm, we find a limestone slab typical of the area characterized by thermal sulfur springs, that help accelerate the ripening of olives. Predominately clay soil, rich in microelements, is suitable for the cultivation of olive trees that brings out its potential by showing vegetative vigor on the plants throughout the year.
