Light fruitiness, bitterness and pungency in balance: it brings harmony to the dish without taking over.

On the nose

Leafy greens and a hint of green walnut husk.

On the palate

Chicory

A clean, slightly bitter note, balanced by pungency.

The finish

Black pepper

Light but long, it stays with you after tasting.

What to use it on tonight

  • 1
BruschettaWarm bread, a pinch of salt and a drizzle of N°3.
  • 2
SaladsOn green leaves it brings out the vegetal notes.
  • 3
RisottiRaw, when stirring in at the end or just served.
  • 4
White meatsOn grilled meat, just plated.

Our tip: use it raw or at the end of cooking. Prolonged heat dulls the aromas that make it special compared to any ordinary oil.

Musignano

From the olive grove

Musignano, land of the hot springs

A flat stretch of land in an area devoted to olive growing for centuries. The area's hot thermal springs speed up the ripening of the olives, while the poor, nitrogen-low clay soil preserves the bitterness typical of Caninese.

How it's made
  1. Organic farming. Organic fertilizer once a year, grass and prunings left on the ground to feed the soil. Treatments only when needed, with products approved for organic farming.
  2. Harvested in October, by hand with handheld harvesting rakes, as soon as the olives begin to change color.
  3. Milled within 4 hours in our own mill, at controlled temperature, with immediate filtration.
  4. Stored in stainless steel under nitrogen, which protects it from oxidation, and bottled in dark glass.

FAQ

How long does an open bottle last?
It's at its best in the weeks after opening. Keep it away from light and heat, with the cap tightly closed.
Why 250 ml?
Because a great extra virgin olive oil should be enjoyed fresh: better a bottle you finish while it's at its peak.
When will it arrive?
We ship within 48 hours of your order. In Italy shipping costs 9,90 € and is free over 99 €. Outside Italy the cost depends on weight, and you'll see it in the cart before paying.
What if something goes wrong?
You have 14 days from delivery to return unopened items, plus a 24-month legal warranty. You can find full details in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
